MAHARSHI MENHI HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL was established on 29th April 1980 in Katihar in the name of pious saint MAHARSHI MENHI, under the Governing Body. Presently, it is under the MAHARSHI MENHI CHARITABLE TRUST, KATIHAR.
The Institute, affiliated to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzuffarpur, presently conducts the degree course in Homoeopathy viz Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery [B.H.M.S.] since 1987.
Today it consists of an Undergraduate section with an auditorium of 300 seating capacity, a hospital having an outpatient department and a 25 bedded inpatients department along with investigative facilities.
